Tell us who you are?
What is your Beauty Mantra?
I AM FIERCE
What Gia Minerals clean beauty products were used to Embrace your Mantra?
Dreams Shadow - Warm shimmer with neutral hues of greens & red
Ash Shadow - Blackest Black Matt
Sunset Beach Blush - Rosy gold sunset
Curious Lipstick - Deep cranberry shade
Natural Lash Mascara - Black Volumized Nourishing Mascara
What do you hope your look communicates to the world?
That I am self assured and confident: I don't need anyone's approval to be exactly who I am.
What's your favorite fantastic face feature?
I am all about the eyes! I also love my lips. They have a strong bow and my bottom lip is much fuller and poutier than the top! They have some character.
What Gia Minerals clean beauty products were used to enhance your favorite features?
On my eyes, I really wanted strong definition and to make them sparkle, so I used the Dreams and Ash Shadows to make a bold statement, and then the Natural Lash Mascara to finish them. On my lips I used the Curious Lipstick with just a dab of Sunset Beach in the center to enhance the fullness, as well as a hint of the Dreams Shadow to highlight my cupids bow.
Favorite thing about yourself?
I've always stood by making decisions that were true to me as an individual, even if it meant doing something different than my peers or what was popular at the time.
Favorite beauty trick?
Work those lashes! I spend a fair amount of time really pushing mascara into the bases of my lashes and making sure they are nicely combed through. Mascara would be my go to beauty product if I were ever stranded on a desert island!
What advice do you give women to purify negative thoughts about their flaws and embrace their uniqueness?
There is only one of you, so make her shine. Whatever imperfections you see in yourself, realize it is a part of you and turn it into your signature look; I see 'flaws' as an opportunity to make a statement! So many models capitalize on their unique looks, why should the rest of us be any different? Take time to really look at yourself through fresh eyes - you may be surprised at what you find! For me, it was my very full round cheeks. I used to wish they weren't so pronounced, but now I see them as a larger canvas to play with. You'd better believe I throw some cheek color and highlighter on them!
